There are more adults living in Nevada, that were born in California, than were born in Nevada. More than 141,000 people moved to Nevada in 2018, 50,000 ish were Californians, the 2^nd highest in the past 10 years.  127k came from other states and 14k came from overseas. (@reviewjournal)

Just when you thought the Neon Boneyard couldn’t get any cooler, @MaverickHeli drops a 12-foot cock on all of us, hovering over history like it’s a 1980s micromachines commercial.  Kudos to whoever was clever enough to set the Treasure Island Pirate head on the ground so it would be identifiable from Google earth.  And the Hard Rock Café sign is not only a great addition to the collection, it serves as a beacon for those looking to take a stroll down memory lane, surrounded by steel and neon giants of days past.

Next week, the Stevens Group will share the name of first property built from the ground up on Fremont street in almost 40 years.  Interestingly enough, they own that property too.  Today it’s known as the D but it opened in 1980 as the Sundance.  Another interesting factoid, once the new Landmark opens (that’s what I'm guessing it will be named) it will mean the Stevens group owns the oldest and newest building in Las Vegas.  That’s because they also own the building at 1 Fremont St, also known as Golden Gate.

My version of “Welcome to Marwen” is this week’s winner, shared by @sam_marques1. It’s captures that magical experience of seeing the strip like an incredibly detailed miniature model that will soon be scaled to overwhelming so that you can play in it. But everyone knows there's a catch to magical experiences. In this case its Cinderella-esque in that the experience has a time limit and the clock starts ticking the moment you land.  So does that mean people who live here are stuck in an inception like dream state?  I’ll speak on their behalf of all that live here and say either way, I just hope that top never stops spinning.

Despite having more than double the rooms of any other property in the Fremont St area, Golden Nugget has the 4^th smallest casino downtown and 9^th smallest of all casinos we cover on this show at 38,000 square feet.  The only properties will smaller casinos are Golden Gate, Silver Sevens, Hooters, Fremont, Hard Rock, Main St Station, Westin Causarina and Casino Royale, in that order. Never in her history has she looked so vibrant and colorful, not even in Legoland.  But who cares.  The world can be drab enough, why not add a splash of color, especially to one of the properties most in need of it.  @LVGully wins this week for a quality photograph and the skill to capture a view I’m sure I’ve seen near 100 times and yet have never seen it so stunning in picture.  Bally’s is the awkward girl in high school that you only need to spend some time inside to find out she was one of the cooler chicks you've ever met.  Cheers to the hot ones who don’t know how hot they are, the only way dudes like me had a shot.
