Vegas Mate Review of the Trip

Twitpic of the Week

This trips winner goes to Bryan's wife Angela for her picture or the view from our room at night.  It was breath taking and was the center of everything we did for the whole trip.  Not once did I walk into our room and not go out on the balcony.  Every evening, every morning, it was the first thing we did when we entered the room and the last thing we did before checking out.  Everything else in the room was great, we loved it but that view.  I’ll never forget it, possibly for the rest of my life.  We took dozens of pictures of it but we chose a shot at night with the fountains going off as out Twitpic of the trip.

Vegas Mate Review of the Week

Twitpic of the Week

This weeks winner came to us from @photosbyhank. This thing looks ethereal.  It's an amazing picture of the sun rising behind the clouds with Stratosphere in the foreground.  This is a classic example of words not doing any justice to a picture.

E-9: Yup, It's Weird

Random Vegas - During a break from a poker game at Aria, Todd Brunson (son of Doyle Brunson) decided to play some 50 hand Double Bonus video poker at $1 per hand, that's $250 in play.  He ended up being dealt 4 Aces which equates to a $40k jackpot.

Twitpic of the Week

This week's winner came to us from @AriaLV.  The picture is a stunning view of the Crystals at City Center either at dusk or dawn.  As soon as I saw this pic, I knew it was going to be hard for anyone to beat but several people almost did.  @AriaLV also provided us with the "Random Vegas" like information via the fact that the Crystals roof has no 90 degree angles.
