Many of us have found ourselves in a casino in the wee hours of the morning, an hour or so before the sun rises, when the place is just about empty.
That feeling can best be described as magical.
Like being locked inside a toy store when you were 11.
The ambience is familiar yet strange.
Slot machines chime out their subliminal tones enticing you to come play, video poker machines chirp the current state of play and chips click clearer than you’ve ever heard them before, unfettered by the excessive chatter from the people playing with them or at least reduced to a dull mumble.
While the noise has receded, the energy remains and a new millionaire can be christened at any moment, even at this hour.

@VitalVegas captured the essence of what it’s like to watch the life of a casino blink out of existence.
No more winners to be awarded, no more cheers will erupt from craps tables and no more jackpot sirens will sound.
The only question left is, what does it feel like being in a casino without any of those things?
