This week’s winner comes to us from @reviewjournal for a photo that, in my opinion, while it did cost George Maloof the property, confirms that building Palms Place was not a bad idea. It’s a photo of the strip from one of the residencies at Palms place at sunrise. While most people are awake to see the sun go down in Vegas, I think, without a doubt, that sunrise is infinitely more beautiful. The sky is just starting to shift from black to blue and you get to enjoy watching it go through a series of shades. But fuck the sky, the best part is having that as a backdrop while watching how the increase in sunlight compliments and enhances the properties and their exterior lighting are. I’ve always said the #1 perk to staying off strip is the view and while I’ve fantasized about living in Veer Tower one day, this picture has caused me to rethink the location of my dream domicile.
