E-47: Beware the Splash Zone

Random Vegas -When the Sands opened in Las Vegas in Dec 1952, it was such a huge success that they made back the 5.5 million it cost to build the place in the first six months of operation. (strictly slots)

Vegas Mate Review of the Week - Marc’s May 7th review of Diego @MGM Grand – 1/5 chips

Twitpic of the week

This weeks winner come to us from @themirage for a cool picture of an icon.  The picture is from inside the property’s atrium looking up through the palm trees at the Mirage signage on the top of the building.  I really like the irony in this picture.  Your inside a building where nature exists and looking past it, outside to signage devoid of nature and a the work “Mirage” mocking the experience.  It’s a really cool picture of a really cool place.
