E-332: Esshance

Random Vegas
Las Vegas, Spanish for the meadows, named after early settlers found natural water springs in the valley, was a critical element to why William Clark wanted to create a train station in the area, because steam engines needed water. (Las Vegas: Behind the Tables)

Twitpic of the week

While this week’s picture by @Tonyillia is not a model…it reminds me of one.  Models have always fascinated me.  Something about miniature worlds and the attention to detail truly captures my imagination.  They somehow have the ability to capture the essence of a place while only representing those details necessary to do it.  Those details just happen to be the elements that evoke memories of a time worth remembering.
