It challenges the Mint for the place in my heart that determines my favorite things from Vegas history.  The Dunes hotel casino and the Oasis Casino extension to the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo Rd, both captures in their full lit up glory.  I often wonder if either of the projects would hold the same affinity to me if I’d had the opportunity to actually experience either of them in person.  That’s part of the magic of Vegas, where Fear of Missing Out is a key component to encouraging frequent return trips.  The photo, shared by @VitalVegas but taken by Larry Hanna via Las Vegas Pictorial History Facebook Group, may have the definitive photograph capturing this moment in the Dunes history, in all its glory

Well done @Niniskya for capturing that magical moment when your plane banks to prepare for landing.  So many unique perspectives, so much beauty, all set a blaze by a neon and LED orgy.  A city on fire with opportunity, available to all and ready to delivery at any given second.  Tokyo, Dubai & NY may dominate in population density but no city is more breathtaking than Las Vegas Nevada
